The Golden 5 Hotels & Beach Resort is ideally located in the tourist area of Hurghada beach by the Red Sea. The Golden 5 Resort and the Al Mas Palace are 2 of the 5 hotels in the resort and are located directly on the long sandy beach with unrivalled views of the Red Sea and the ability to use the facilities of the whole resort.

The Golden 5 Resort has a total of 520 rooms and is the larger of the hotels. The Al Mas Palace has 107 rooms in total. All rooms are equipped with the following facilities:- en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, fridge, hairdryer, satellite TV and a safety deposit box.

There are a huge amount of activities to choose from in the resort for all ages and preferences. These include 3 inter-connecting swimming pools with children's pools, a water-sports and diving centre, tennis courts, squash courts, volleyball and basketball. There is also a health club with a gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, aerobics and massage, table tennis, billiards and video games.

Around the resort there are 6 restaurants including seafood and Italian cuisine, 2 pool bars serving snacks and refreshments and 2 coffee shops.

Other facilities include a shopping arcade with 73 shops, beauty centre, laundry service, day nursery/babysitting, meeting rooms, in house doctor, car parking and a shuttle bus to/from the Hurghada.

There is a full board consisting of a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served in the rich buffet style at the Main Restaurant. The hotel guests can choose between Panorama Restaurant (serving breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Sinai Restaurant (serving breakfast, dinner). Delicious Snacks are available such as pizza, pasta, BBQ, potatoes and salads during daily hours at the Diamond Beach Bar and at the Diamond Pool Bar. There are three bars serving AI drinks: Mas Lobby Bar (open from 09:00-01:00); Diamond Beach Bar (10:00-18:00) and Diamond Pool Bar (open from 10:00-18:00).
